Mathematica dynamic updating

This should be sufficient since I've configured my switch for 802.1x as well as DHCP snooping to allow only trusted DHCP assigned IP addresses on the VLAN.

What I'm trying to do: I want to limit what hostnames are allowed to dynamically update DNS.

I don't want to end up with a malicious user sending a dynamic DNS update with the same hostname as a domain controller or radius server or something.

If this key exists and it has a value of 0, dynamic updates from clients are refused.

I am not sure if how it would affect updates from a DHCP service on the same server, but you could try it out and see if it may be an alternative to the firewall block. As in secure mode just ad joined machine can update their record.

Wolfram Mathematica is split into two parts, the kernel and the front end.

The kernel interprets expressions (Wolfram Language code) and returns result expressions.

ddclient during system startup updates /var/cache/ddclient/ddclient.cache with old ip address.

Because of this, Open DNS Dashboard is showing old ip address and only after 5 minutes, if i do screen refresh or i have to click on (update this dynamic ip to - 2 green arrows in reverse direction) option in Open DNS dashboard.

Here's why this is a problem: We run a mixed environment shop and have a lot of devices that aren't tied to AD, so I can't limit DNS updates to secure-only.

Can someone please tell me how to fix this and what it's called?
